Irish Music at the Town of Shenandoah Museum

The Town of Shenandoah Museum and Welcome Center is excited to announce there will be Live Music at the Town of Shenandoah Museum featuring An Lár (507 First Street, Shenandoah, VA 22849) on March 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Charlottesville, VA band An Lár captivates audiences with the traditional music of Ireland, intricate instrumentals including blasts of reels, loping jigs, peppy sailor’s hornpipes, lyrical waltzes and haunting laments alternating with songs of love, sorrow and celebration. You’ll most certainly recognize the guitar, banjo, flutes and whistles, but you’ll also see and hear the Irish button accordion, uilleann pipes and the bodhrán. Tap your feet, sing along with songs, and let the music transport you to the Emerald Isle. Find anlárband on Facebook and Instagram.  This is a free event.
