The Shenandoah Police Department currently operates 24-7 with 5 officers. The Chief of Police is Peter J. Monteleone, Captain Paul W. Davis, 1st Sgt. Chadwick Cubbage,      Sgt. K. Brandon Morris, and Officer William Wheeler. 

The Shenandoah Police Department has a combined total of over 75 years experience in law enforcement. Chief Monteleone has been here since 2000, Capt. Paul Davis since 2002, 1st Sgt Chadwick Cubbage since 2003, Sergeant K. Brandon Morris and Administrative Assistant Joyce A. Fluharty since 2005, and Officer William Wheeler joined the Shenandoah Police Department in 2010.
