
May 29th 2006 - Iva Rothgeb, 86 Years young (sitting on
the left) and friend Irene Austin, 95Years young, (sitting on the right) both
long time residents of Shenandoah, enjoy a peaceful Sunday sitting in the Big
Gem Gazebo. Both ladies said they recall relatives telling them of a
train at the bottom of the pond.

April 27th, 2006 -
Matt Hammer and his granddaughter, Olivia Turner 3, visited Big Gem Park so
she could show him what she did last week. Matt
Hammer said a playpark would be very nice to have for the children, he also said
he would like to see a horseshoe pit somewhere in the park eventually.

April 9th, 2006 - Solomon, and his dog Lotto walking through the park, Solomon donated 20 hours over 3 weekends in building the bench that wraps around the tree in front of the gazebo. Thank you for your hard work and dedication Mr. Clark!
